Beach Ideas

 

Cromer Pier – We like the idea of a pier as it can be seen as quite romantic and at sunset, we could use some silhouetting elements of two people standing together next to the water. We have researched the tide times as well just so we know the time scale of our day and what times would be appropriate to shoot on the beach so we can use our limited time wisely.

Wells – we like the location of Wells as it has a woods in the background and as we are thinking about using some shots in the woods we thought this location would be appropriate as well as the beach is quite simple and easy to access. It is also quite an ageless place so would be appealing to our target audience.

Hunstanton – We looked at this location because it has some nice elements which could be relevant to our video. Another positive point is that Hunstanton is only one hour and twenty eight minutes away which is one of the closer locations.

Pembrokeshire - We have also considered beaches that are well known for their beauty like Pembrokeshire. However the distance is an issue as well as we couldn’t really afford to bring over a group of people to Wales.

 

We especially liked the sunsets and general layout of this beach for our music video. Even though is quite a distance away it has inspired to do similar shots on beaches nearer by.

Wood Ideas

Bourne woods is a picturesque simple woodland. Which is within walking distance to where Beth and I live. We know this woods well and know some interesting and appropriate areas to film at.

Doll woods is next to Thurlby and is asside the housing estate which means it is quiet, peaceful and the autumn colours are quite atrractive. As it is Thurlby the drive is only about 10 minutes which makes it extremely affordable and easy to move around all our equipment.

Sherwood Forest is well known for it's beauty. It is a very popular wood area, which could be affective while shooting the group youthful shots. It is quite a distance away however it is still an affordable distance. We would use the woodland shots especially with the group youthful shots.
