Genre: History of Pop music

 
Pop music has evolved from the Rock 'n Roll era of the 1950's and is still going to this current day. Since the the 1950's pop music has owned the widest audience, the influential sound which is inspired by Rock 'n Roll especially after Bill Hayley's "Rock Around The Clock".

  • Shadows, mise en scene, reflects atmosphere, equal division of shots upon band members or focus on key members.

  • High angle/ low angle, special lighting effects
  • Close-ups/ Extreme close-ups
  • Animation and video special effects (C.G.I, Green Screen)
  • Colour effects - often monochrome / black and white
