Typical Conventions:

Magazine adverts are a form of advertising, they would usually include the date release of the album, the artist and bright, bold pictures and writing to attract attention.
Analysing these three adverts, we tried to take elements from them all to create our magazine advert.


We used the following conventions:

•  Bold title 
• Bright colours 
• Image of the artist 
• On set location 
• Relevance to the tracks and artist genre 
• Title of song/album 
• Date release

Our Magazine Advert 

 

We decided that although this had similar conventions to the magazine adverts above that we would attempt at a more proffesional approach. To do this we looked at editing our advert on photo shop:



Photoshop is a free web-based image editing tool to edit photos directly on blogs and social networking sites.

 



In result to this we also looked at Jessie J's magazine advert and decided to base our advert similarly as her music genre is pop too. She uses bold writing, a clear image that is relative to her album and songs. Her name is prominant and clear as well as having the title of her album from one of her song titles.
